NO-DEPENDENCE Educational Programme: From Understanding to the Application of Hydrogen Technologies
Podgorica, Montenegro, from 13 to 15 May 2026
The Faculty of Technology, in cooperation with the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia (University of Belgrade), is organizing an educational program from 13 to 15 May 2026 within the framework of the SPS MYP G6037 project – “Development of Hydrogen Compressors (NO-DEPENDENCE)”, implemented with the support of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme.
Given that the transition towards a climate-neutral energy system is not only a technological challenge, but also requires a deeper understanding of emerging technologies, the NO-DEPENDENCE educational program – Discover → Experience → Reflect has been designed as a three-day event connecting theoretical concepts, scientific research and the application of advanced materials in hydrogen energy systems.
The following members and collaborators of the NO-DEPENDENCE research team will deliver lectures:
- Dr. Sanja Milošević Govedarović, Senior Research Associate, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade;
- Dr. Sandra Kurko, Principal Research Fellow, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade;
- Dr. Slobodan Cvetković, Senior Research Associate, University of Belgrade, the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy; Director of the Center for Ecology and Technoeconomics;
- Dr. Branislav Stanković, Senior Research Associate, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade;
- Dr. Katarina Batalović, Principal Research Fellow, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade.
The program is intended for students, young researchers, doctoral students, engineers, representatives of the state administration and the energy sector, as well as the professional public, who want to learn more about hydrogen technologies and their role in modern energy systems.
Interested participants may apply until 11 May 2026 via the following link: forms
